GENES1S, formerly known as 1027, is a rapper and producer formerly signed to Flex Entertainment. He also raps under the name YANG 2012.

On March 15, 2020, he was kicked from the label after not handling negative criticism, constant self promotion, and mediocre, unfunny music.

His most well known song is the leaked single "Opiniated," which he did a remix of in August.

He was kicked out of Flex Entertainment and was banned from the Discord due to pedophilia acts towards Yung Lambo.

Due to his tendencies to promote his own music constantly, excessive self promotion is referred to by Flex Entertainment members as a "Yang crime."

Critical Reception

His music has received negative reception from critics. He receives praise for his production but his rapping under "Yang 2012" has been negatively received. Beetlebat said that 1027 has potential as a producer but his music is forgettable. He has also been criticized for constantly self promoting in Flex Entertainment's discord. In fact, his self promotion habits were so constant and irritating that members of the Flex discord server call people who self promote too much "Yang Criminals" as in his stage name YANG 2012.
