Big Baller B
Bradley Lehmann (born April 7, 2000), better known by his YouTube channel name Brad Taste in Music and his stage name Big Baller B is an American YouTuber, rapper, singer, songwriter, producer, cocaine dealer and reviewer. He was one of the founding members of Flex Entertainment and featured on the first Flex song "YouTube Money Reloaded". Brad would become an administrator for the label on October 12, 2020.
He is best known for his songs "Is That Yo Girl?", "Washed Up", "Your Spouse at my House", "Bigger Trigger Father Figures", "Flex Gang", "Aimin My Gun At Yo Son" and "Gang Gang Gang". Both his debut album "Big Baller Paradise" and his collaborative followup "Swarm" with Lil Mosquito Disease are critically acclaimed and well selling albums and are considered some of the most impactful and influential albums in the history of Flex Entertainment.
Brad's music features an innovative DIY style with him often producing most of his tracks. He often raps about topics such as getting women, flexing and stealing YOUR GIRL. He often parodies songs from other artists in a humorous way as well.
Music career[edit | edit source]
Soundcloud producer era (2017)[edit | edit source]
Before he began his career, Brad was experimenting with simple beats on his SoundCloud account. Brad would upload his first song “Over The Shore" on March 6, 2017. He was under the DJ Bizzness alias during this period of time. Throughout April, he would occasionally release new instrumental pieces with jazz and pop elements. With the release of “Consuming Touch”, he changed his stage name to “Bradley L’” and then “Bradley Lehmann.” It wasn’t until December where we were introduced to Big Baller B for the first time on “Big Baller B is back on the mic again (Freestyle).” It featured Brad moaning in autotune while spitting nonsense. While technically under the Bradley Lehmann stage name, he would release “The B EP”, a compilation of all his 2017 Soundcloud work so far. He put out another Big Baller B single “In The Club” with Teenager City produced by himself, Bradley Lehmann.
Initial comeup, "Jesus", and The Good, The Brad, and The Emo (2018)[edit | edit source]
Big Baller B released his debut single "Jesus" on March 2, 2018. The song was made as a parody of popular rappers. This style of comedy rap was likely inspired by Filthy Frank and Bo Burnham. He also put out a diss track on PILLOW PILOTS for featuring him in a Try Not To Get Angry compilation for his Twenty One Pilots reviews. His releases continued to be scattered as his YouTube reviewing career took off. He put out “My Emo Song” which he recorded on stream complaining about how laggy it is and proceeds to drown his sorrows with alcohol. This is an obvious parody of the Emo scene for being overdramatic in their sadness. He would continue to troll the Clique with a freestyle over “Levitate.” He released his debut extended-play "The Good, The Brad, and The Emo" on November 7. The EP was panned by critics and the artist himself. Two weeks later, he said “legit I don't even know why I did this looking back. I put this together in an hour. most tracks already existed. I just lazily slapped awful unfinished songs into an EP. There are a few funny moments where I go just far enough... but those are far and few.”
Flex Entertainment, Big Baller Paradise, and Swarm (2019)[edit | edit source]
Soon he would come into contact with Flex Entertainment. Yung Schmoobin had previously reached out to Brad to feature on his “YouTube Money” mixtape in May. During late November, Brad was scrolling through TheTopTens. Brad would discover Lil Mosquito Disease on the Worst Songs of 2018 list. On December 10, Brad uploaded his Worst Songs of 2018 videos, discussing artists like Lil Flexer and Lil Mosquito Disease, bringing new people to their audience. On December 11, Brad reached out to Mosquito looking to get him and Lil Flexer on Schmoobin's "YouTube Money Reloaded" posse cut track. Mosquito then replied “Sure, send me a beat, this boutta be fire”. After two weeks of cooking, the eight minute remix of “YouTube Money” was released on December 24, birthing Flex Entertainment.
By the next year, Brad set out to improve his music from his disastrous EP. Brad released two singles "Is That Yo Girl?" and "I Took Yo Bitch to the Dentist" as the lead singles for his debut album. He announced his debut album for the summer titled “My Big Baller Paradise” which was shortened to “Big Baller Paradise.” It was set for a release date of June 7, 2019. The album received mixed to positive reviews, called a big improvement from his EP. Brad is pretty unsure about the record himself, calling it “cringe” as of 2021. In response, he put out “The Good, The Brad, The Emo 2" on June 22. He also began collaborating with Mosquito to make tracks like "Hookada Bookada", "Gang Money", "Feeling Blue", and "Bigger Trigger Father Figures." Other parodies like song like “Earth 2” (Lil Dicky’s Earth), “Flex Gang” (Smash Mouth’s I’m A Believer), and “Old Town Road 2” (Lil Nas X’s Old Town Road) were released to promote their upcoming collaboration record.
On July 12, Big Baller B and Lil Mosquito Disease released their debut collaboration album titled "Swarm". It received mostly positive reviews from audiences citing the chemistry of the two and the humor for giving them a good laugh. It did have some negative reception from a few people though as well. Brad made a comment about it in 2022, “Ngl coming back to this project, even tho I’m embarrassed by some of the awful shit I did on here, the overall experience and cohesiveness of this album is literally everything I could have wanted. I loved making this. One of a kind.” This only helped Flex Entertainment grow as a brand with Brad’s reach inspiring artists like Beetlebat to join the community. He didn't release much music for the rest of year. "Don't Keep No Useless Woman" was the only single released after Brad reviewed Nav's new album. It peaked at No. 67 on the Flex Entertainment Hot 100. He would occasionally drop by Flex Entertainment voice calls to hang out with his labelmates.
Various singles and hiatus (2020-21)[edit | edit source]
Big Baller B released "Jessica" on March 26, 2020. The song was Brad combining all the elements of terrible songs together. It was critically acclaimed for being a funny song. It ended up topping the Flex Entertainment Hot 100 chart, overtaking Jake G's "Diamond Ores." It became his first number one single and the only song to debut at number one in chart history. On April 16, he announced that a new album was in the making, including "Jessica." His song "Aiming My Gun At Yo Son" became a top five hit after the release of its music video. In late 2020 he would work on an EP with a theme around the Jessica character that he sung about on Jessica with several songs being made. He would however cancel the project as he felt like it would not be that funny as a whole project. “Broken” featuring Lil Squeaky was the only other single released from him that year.
In 2021 Brad put out multiple singles, those being "Demons", "SIMP ZONE", "Keemstar" and "I REALLY BE S******* C*******S" as well as collaborative song "SCARY HOES 3" with Lil Mosquito Disease. His biggest song from 2021 was "Mask 2", a parody of Dream's "Mask." It debuted at No. 1. His only project in 2021 was a parody album of Twenty One Pilots “Scaled And Icy” called “Chafed and Ashy” featuring Brad just messing around with samples mashing them up with the original album and rapping over them.
"B-Dizzle" & assorted features (2022 - present)[edit | edit source]
Brad did a reaction to CORPSE’s HOT DEMON BITCHES NEAR YOU where he introduced B Dizzle. He was pretty much a stereotypical white YouTube rapper reactor who gassed up anything he was hearing. This rebrand was made official with the “Prison Sentence” EP. The three-song collection was a Tom MacDonald parody where he talks about how bad it is to be white. He put out a remix of “Am I The Only One” by Aaron Lewis in the fall of 2022 where he announced he’d become a "political channel." His lack of musicial activity is due to his focus on his rapidly growing YouTube channel that has amassed over 200K subscribers to this day. Despite all of this, he still promotes Flex Entertainment and even participated in Flex Fest 2022 as the headliner along with Mosquito with a set that was widely praised and loved by all, fans and critics alike. He would feature on the fourth instalment of Lil Squeaky's Menace series with a verse that is widely considered to be one of his funnest and most well written to date.
B Dizzle reached out to the Flex Entertainment discord server to cook up beats and send them to him. Within a few hours, “No More Half Measures”, a Breaking Bad reference, was released on December 29, 2022. It received mixed reviews with a 53 user score but due to his popularity it currently has five hundred ratings. A month later, a video was uploaded called “Free B Dizzle” with Big Baller B dancing and guitar strumming over “#freehead” by Yung Head$hit, suggesting that B Dizzle is still stuck in prison. A day later, the mixtape was released to streaming services with “Crack In My Crack” on it.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- Out of all his songs, Brad often refers to "Aimin My Gun at Yo Son" as one of his best songs as he really loves the hook on that song that is very catchy.
- He is half Jewish.
- He suffers from the condition known as scoliosis. He would rap about it with former scoliosis sufferer beetlebat on their collaborative song from Flex Gang Vol. 4 titled "Diagnosis".
- In late 2022, there were several rumors spread that Big Baller B was indeed the same person as fellow Flex Entertainment artist Tending Bike. The claims would be addressed by Lil Squeaky directly during the taping of the Flex Awards. Big Baller B would simply laugh at the remark but many think this proves his true identity.
