Depp Gibbs (born November 1, 2006) Gibbs (born 2006) are an American band, songwriters, editor, and producers. They originate from California an are signed to Flex Entertainment. Their most popular song "I Don't Like Kpop" has over 10K plays on Spotify and peaked at No. 1 on the Flex Entertainment Hot 100. Unfortunately, the single would be deleted about two years after release. Little is known about why the single was deleted off of all streaming platforms. Depp himself thinks Twomad deleted the track. Depp became an administrator for the label on July 29th, 2021. They are mostly known for their experimental style and cutting-edge story telling style. The band is led by frontman Depp Richardson, with many fans referring to Richardson by the full band name "Depp Gibbs."
Very little is known about Gibbs, the drummer and producer of Depp Gibbs. Although they are mentioned and have vocal samples in most Depp Gibbs albums. Their names are Jack Ferguson (drummer) and Andy Frelinghuysen (producer/occasional harmonica player). Very little is known about Andy and Jack altogether, they may have been invented by Richardson to extort his loneliness.

Depp Gibbs started production and vocals on their album "Child Support Extravangza" in March 2020 right as the COVID-19 pandemic slowly started. It is unknown how they met each other.
They released the groundbreaking album on May 6, 2020. They released music videos like VIDEO GAME CUTSCENES. The entire album consisted of nothing but Depp screaming into the microphone. Needless to say, the album did very well with Depp Gibbs accumulating over 8000 spotify listeners at their peak. Not much is known as how Depp gained the listeners. One might think it is because of the lockdown that just started and many people staying indoors.
Because of the high demand for a project, the band released the shortly-made Dreammaster 0069.
"Dreammaster was our worst mistake," said Andy from the band Depp Gibbs, although it is unknown what they think of the album as of now.
Depp Gibbs signed to Flex Entertainment on July 9th, 2020.
They would post their first Flex Entertainment music video on July 13th 2020 with utter disgust from many in flex. The song would be called “I Am Back Bruh” announcing the return and a new era of Depp Gibbs. Notably, one of the mods at the time would remove the thumbnail and call the music video a “visualizer”. This was when everything in flex was going through a quality control by insecure mods.
They had a well-received album that was released on October 17th, 2020 called "Seasalt Shores", their debut flex album. Seasalt Shores is well known because of a collaboration with Kanye West on the album.
Depp Gibbs has also released an EP called "Depp Gibbs" which was an album based on assassinating "Bertram", a character from the Disney TV show Jessie. This album raises controversy due to it killing the famous character Bertram from Jessie.
Depp Gibbs released their highly anticipated third album, THE TREE OF MY OWN PEE on June 11th, 2021. It was received very well and included many Flex Entertainment features including White Fury and Lil Mosquito Disease.
In February of 2021, Depp from the band Depp Gibbs, also reportedly admitted to being friends with the YouTube star "Blippi" it is unknown however if this is true (It likely isn't) even though he had a music video showing it.
On August 28th, 2021, Depp got jumped by who he says is his best friend, Blippi at a Baskins Robbins. Depp was shortly rushed to a hospital and was in a coma for about a month. On December 31, 2021, Depp Gibbs released an EP called "The Averages". This EP was well received but not as well-received as their earlier projects.
Depp would later feast on his new-found notoriety. This would manifest into him believing that anything he would make would create a stir in people. Thus became PM, which released April 7, 2022. The album (later announced “Mixtape” would receive sour and “mid” reviews, with almost every song feeling like a soulless version of what Depp Gibbs used to sound like. Depp himself admitted later that he had no idea what he was thinking when he made the project. Many people say Gibbs had no involvement in the album with Depp producing the music himself, which made it sound bland and boring.
With the sour reception of PM, the band would stay clueless on the next project. White Fury would later remind Depp was in and that would later become “A Roll Of The Dice” to Depp. Depp would later forgot the whole album because of the coma he was in (October 2021). But luckily there was a crew that recorded the whole album.
“A Roll Of The Dice” was released September 2nd 2022 and received mild reviews. A Roll Of The Dice was a story-driven album with no music until the last couple of tracks. Many say Depp was trying to go back to his Child Support Extravaganza days.
In September 2022, Depp and Ava Rose would become friends and make a remix of Hood Guy’s song “You Love It”. Depp and Ava were supposed to have a set together for Flex Fest. But after Ava Rose left the Flex Entertainment server, Depp would have to play the concert solo. Depp would not be present at his FlexFest set because of him being at an apparent credit card renewal.
The album “Chicken In Heaven” was released on June 30, 2023 with great sucesss. The album features plunderphonics, hip hop, alternative rock, and rnb. The album was made January 2023 to June 2023.
Depp (frontman) would promise music videos only to fail shortly because of his passion running thin with his band. On November 18th 2023, Depp Gibbs would annouce on social media that they would be disbanding and making a final album in 2024. They have said they are quitting because of burnout and life reasons. It is unclear what the next Depp Gibbs album will sound like.
