"Eat, Sleep, Flex, Repeat" is the third mixtape from American rapper and former Flex Entertainment executive Yung Schmoobin. It was released on February 27, 2020. It will feature guest appearances from Lil Mosquito Disease, Kid Phang, Big Baller B, Lil Boxx, and Tobuscus.

The mixtape includes the singles "Hippity Hoppity", "Meningitis", "All That", "Demonetized", "Eat, Sleep, Flex, Repeat", and "Choral on Choral."

"Eat, Sleep, Flex, Repeat" is Schmoobin's third mixtape. The cover art was inspired by Viper's 2010 album "You'll Cowards Don't Even Smoke Crack."

Singles

"Hippity Hoppity" was released on August 23, 2019 as the lead single for the album. The song is one minute long but still received positive feedback from critics. It is his most streamed single on Spotify with 2.1K total plays. The song peaked at No. 22 on the Flex Entertainment Hot 100. It is his highest charting single as the lead artist.

"Meningitis" was released on October 6, 2019. It is a response diss track to British rapper Embee's "Bye Flexers." Lil Mosquito Disease also features on the song. It went on to become one of Schmoobin's most popular songs. It is his second most streamed single on Spotify with 2K total plays. The song peaked at No. 40 on the Flex Entertainment Hot 100.

"All That" was released on December 5, 2019 as the third single. It features vocals from Kid Phang. It peaked and debuted at No. 37 on the Flex Entertainment Hot 100.

"Demonetized" was released on January 17, 2020 as the fourth single.

"Eat, Sleep, Flex, Repeat" was released on March 19, 2020, as the fifth single. It features vocals from Lil Boxx. It debuted at No. 100 on the Flex Entertainment Hot 100. It leaped 86 spots to its peak of No. 14, breaking the record for the biggest jump in Hot 100 history.

"Choral on Choral" was released as the sixth single on April 4, 2020. It samples a choir performance from Schmoobin himself. It was produced by Lil Mosquito Disease.

Critical Reception

The mixtape received positive reviews from critics, calling it his "best work to date." In the first couple of days after released, it had a peak rating of 76 on Album of the Year from 29 reviews, becoming the 26th highest rated album of 2020. It became the fourteenth most reviewed project that week. It also has a 2.81 on Rate Your Music from 24 ratings. Brad gave it a 80/100 saying, "This is the project I have waited for from Yung Schmoobin. It’s clear he put so much more effort into this tape. It does exactly what it set out to do. It is fun, and I genuinely enjoyed it front to back." TheDankestMeme gave it a 82/100 stating that it "finally brings the promise that he has shown only in small amounts in the past." Toasterqueen12 gave the project a 90/100, telling people in the Flex Fan server that it was "phenomenal". Tracks like the title track and "All That" received the most praise from the project. It currently sits at a 64/100 with 92 ratings.

The mixtape has not been looked back upon particularly fondly, with many finding it boring and overhyped. Some have stated that they felt like they had their positive opinions "prescribed to them." The tape is also seen as the catalyst for the beginning of the dark ages era as it's success on AOTY lead many people to attempt to focus more on pleasing critics on that site as opposed to making the music they actually wanted to make.

Chart performance

Eat, Sleep, Flex, Repeat debuted at number two on the Braeden's Most Played Albums chart with 240,000 units sold. It blocked from the number-one spot by The Weeknd's "After Hours." It is his second top ten album. The following week, it stayed at the number two position with 370,000 units sold in its first full tracking week. It lasted eight weeks in the top ten. It was the 25th best-selling album of 2020. It was certified Platinum by BMP.
