Flex Awards 2022 was an award show held on January 22, 2023, livestreamed on the Flex Entertainment YouTube channel. It recognized the best recordings, compositions, and artists of 2022. The nominations were revealed through various social media platforms on December 9, 2022. Long-time Flex artist Sammythefish hosted the ceremony.

Lil Squeaky received the most nominations with twenty-three, followed by Beetlebat with eleven. Beetlebat would go on to receive the most awards with seven. The "Flex Gang, Vol. 4" compilation album won Album of the Year. Beetlebat won Song of the Year with "Innocent." Lil Squeaky would win Artist of the Year.

Controversy[edit | edit source]

beetlebat won a lot of awards, bringing controversy to both the stream chat and the discord call. Another awkward moment was the host sammythefish taking his shirt off towards the end of the show as well as his parents interrupting him, along with this he also decided to perform one of the worst covers of"somebody that I used to know" on a terrible laptop mic, disrupting the award show.
