Jake G (also known as Miner Jake G) is a musical artist who makes Minecraft parodies and original songs. He was signed to Flex Entertainment but later left the label. His song "Diamond Ores" hit number one on the Flex Entertainment Hot 100, dethroning "Dog Walk" by Submarine Man. It became the most viewed Flex Entertainment song on YouTube.

History

On April 3, Jake G performed multiple songs from his discography on Instagram, also know as Jake G's Instagram Live Performance. A week later on April 10th, Jake G performed another set, this time longer with different songs and some covers.

On July 7, Jake G officially left Flex Entertainment. He stated the reasons he was leaving were because he felt his music didn’t fit on the label and he was planning on releasing more serious music soon. He also said he would be going on a hiatus for an indefinite amount of time. He stated it was nothing against the label or anyone in the label and he doesn’t want any bad blood between them.
