SCOTCHWORLD is the debut studio album by Plotagon rapper Travis Scotch, released on March 2, 2020 under Flex Entertainment. It contains guest appearances from Juice ERTH, Quova, Onset, Takeon, Rich Roddie, Baby Lil, Rick Boss, Lil Uwu Vert, Emandem, Pitballed, Cardi D, Playkid Carter, Gonna, Chief Keeth, Young Thumb, Bruno Starz, and Draek.

Travis Scotch released his debut single "The Evolution of Music" on August 25, 2019. Scotch announced his debut album "SCOTCHWORLD." The second single from the album "I Got The Scotch Tape" was released on February 2, 2020. After multiple delays, "SCOTCHWORLD" was released on March 2, 2020. The album gained hundreds of views once again from Brad's review on the project on his channel.

The lead single from the album "The Evolution of Music" was released on August 25, 2019. It features vocals from Pitballed, Bruno Stars, Young Thumb, & Draek. It was also produced by CRZFawkz. The song was sleeper hit, gaining popularity after appearing in the video "2019: WORST SONGS" by Brad. It debuted on the Flex Entertainment Hot 100 at No. 100. The following week, it leaped up to seventy-one spots to No. 29, a former Hot 100 record. It went on to peak at No. 3. It spent 13 weeks in the Top 10. It is one of few songs to spend 40 weeks on the Hot 100.

The second single from the album "I Got The Scotch Tape" was released on February 2, 2020. It features Juice ERTH. It debuted and peaked at No. 5 on the Flex Entertainment Hot 100 after album's release.

Critical Reception[edit | edit source]

"SCOTCHWORLD" received mixed to positive reviews from critics. Brad Taste in Music reviewed the album on his channel in the video "This Album Cured My Depression" calling it stupidly wholesome and hard not to laugh at. "It is purely the dumbest fun imaginable, with a kid having the imagination to play the role of a bunch of other rappers as if he was playing with action figures." TheDankestMeme called it a strange experience and believes there is certainly an audience for that kind of music. It has a 58/100 rating on Album of the Year from 40 ratings. It also has 2.35 on Rate Your Music from 30 ratings.
