Career[edit | edit source]
Beginnings/pre flex:[edit | edit source]
Yung Snoozy first thought of making meme rap music when he heard the song “syrup” by Slump Ak and lil rocket launcher. The song gave him the idea to make scam rap music, and thus he made his first single, “off brand clothes”. Because of his poor work ethic at the time, the song took him 5 months to make, and he recalls being extremely pissed off once the song was finished, as it was annoying to make. Snoozy eventually released off brand clothes onto SoundCloud where it received decent praise from his peers. Snoozy eventually made more singles until the release of his first EP, “Edgy awesome epic album”. The EP barely got any streams, but those who heard it referred to it as “unlistenable garbage”.
Walmart/$led gang[edit | edit source]
After creating the “Edgy Awesome Epic Album” EP, Snoozy was inspired by Flex Entertainment to create a channel that would host the worst music possible. Snoozy got his friends from school, Yung Xinping and UrDaddy’sCrac, to join what would become Walmart Gang. The group would have members such as yung xinping, urdaddy’scrac, lil purple Afro, BallerRex, akuma, biggyasswipe5, guayando man, BIG HONKEY, lil trix, lil Chris Hansen, and yung insulin. Eventually Snoozy set up a discord server with Akuma for Walmart Gang. Akuma blocked Snoozy on discord for unknown reasons, and because of this, the Walmart gang server went completely dead. Snoozy soon felt unmotivated to do anything for the group, until he realized that he could leave the hard work to the professionals and join Flex. To this day he is trying to get the Walmart gang (now renamed to $led gang) members signed to Flex.
Tom’s white knights
Snoozy was in a random flex call one day with flex server members Royal Flush, Twisted Wizard and flex owner Lil Mosquito Disease trying to find a way to forget the terrible experience of watching the 2022 animated film Turning Red and was talking with flush and twisted specifically about it when one of them started talking about the Canadian country hip hop artist Tom Macdonald. Eventually, everyone in the call except for mosquito made Tom Macdonald Stan accounts where they would post a bunch of comedically stupid posts surrounding Tom and American values. Snoozy was having a great time laughing his ass off in the call over the stupid posts, especially considering his day had been pretty shitty prior to this event. Twisted decided to organize a song with Snoozy and Flush where they would praise Tom and diss turning red. Snoozy, thinking it was a one song situation, went along with it because he thought the concept was funny. Snoozy overall had a lot of fun making the song and they released it to YouTube as “red white and blue”. This to snoozy is the only time twk was ever good, and it was becoming more apparent to him that the joke was becoming less and less funny when twisted announced that there would be a second twk single called “American power”. Snoozy was so unmotivated with the group that he didn’t try with his verse, and he infamously just used Bhop Go footage for the music video instead of doing a proper video take, which was frowned upon by flex exec beetlebat. Eventually, TWK started falling apart because of the different dynamics between the members, with Flush and Snoozy just wanting to goof off in the call, and Twisted wanting to work on the album and progress. Twisted would specifically get mad at Snoozy for seemingly no reason, and would commonly pull a Leafy and use Snoozy's age as an argument point. Obviously this made Snoozy care less and less about TWK, and it became worse when Twisted's public image took a turn for the worse because of the "$15 dollar feature" incident and Tom's Black Knights (a movement from EMBEE which Snoozy publicly supported that was against TWK). Eventually there was no saving for TWK, and everyone in the group clearly just wanted to go their own ways. Snoozy doesn't remember TWK very fondly and thinks it was a bad decision, but he does respect everyone in the group for helping him get signed. Although Twisted has gone on to do some other stupid things (such as threatening to rob homes in Michigan and almost writing a terrible diss track on Lil Squeaky), Snoozy and him are on good terms.
